Paradisbakkeskolen is a sustainable community with safety in focus. At Paradisbakkeskolen we work to form the students to become knowledgeable, tolerant and curious global citizens. In daily life we emphasize participation, democracy and well-being.

The island's school provision for newly arrived bilingual children – the reception classes – is gathered at Paradisbakkeskolen. Here students get a solid start to their schooling on Bornholm.

We need you who can see yourself in some of the following subjects

• 6th to 9th grade: Natural science, German, social studies
• 0th to 5th grade: Mathematics, physical education, H/D, English and N/T, history and Christianity
• Reception classes: Ordinary school subjects

At Paradisbakkeskolen we strive to create good learning communities, where teachers and pedagogues learn from each other and together create good learning conditions for the students.

Our goal is that all students become aware of nature's importance for humans, and that students are made into environmentally conscious citizens who take a stance on future resources. At the school we have, among other things, school gardens used for self-production – both in our Food School, where students take turns participating in the production, but also in our outdoor school. In addition to the school garden we have animal husbandry, sensory gardens and good opportunities for outdoor teaching.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local pay formation.

A children's certificate and criminal record check will be obtained upon employment.

The position is 37 hours per week.
