Aarhus Maskinmesterskole seeks an engaged instructor in the crafts

Do you have a craftsman background as a blacksmith, are curious about new knowledge, and are you passionate about developing people both personally and professionally. Then you might be our new colleague.

We are fully underway with our education programs for marine engineer and automation technologist with lots of new engaged students. At the same time we work with practice-oriented research and development in areas including digitalization and green transition and we are experiencing growth in continuing and adult education.

Your tasks

As a teacher your primary tasks are

• Planning, development and implementation of teaching
• Guidance of students
• Participation in development activities
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration with colleagues

A little about you

You have a craft-based education such as

• Sheet metal worker
• Stainless sheet metal worker
• Maritime blacksmith
• Industrial technician, machinist or toolmaker with solid experience in the metalworking trades
• Alternatively a higher education degree as marine engineer or engineer, preferably supplemented with a craft education.

Derudover har du stærke kompetencer inden for et eller flere af følgende håndværksfag

• General metalworking
• Welding: MIG/MAG, arc (electrode), TIG and gas welding (autogenous)
• Bending and rolling work
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor would be an advantage, but not a requirement.

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed and remunerated in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant professional organization.

The position is full-time 37 hours per week.

Commencement on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
