Aarhus Municipality is urgently seeking an active and sports-minded hourly babysitter for a 10-year-old boy in western Aarhus

Aarhus municipality seeks as soon as possible an active and sport-interested part-time substitute for a boy aged 10 in the western part of Aarhus

The working time is approx. 5 hours per week, distributed over 1-2 weekday afternoons from about 1:30 PM and some additional hours.

As a time substitute, your task is to substitute for the parents at home.

The time spent with the boy will primarily take place at home, but it is also possible to take small trips out of the house.

You will look after and be with the boy as well as support and guide him in his daily activities.

The boy has epilepsy.

As a time substitute, you will never have to act urgently or administer seizure-suppressing medication.

The boy's seizures express themselves as absences; he becomes shut off and absent for a few seconds and then returns.

He is exhausted after a seizure.

The boy attends a mainstream primary school, full-time.

The boy is currently in good well-being.

The parents describe the boy as likable, happy, active and bright.

The boy's interests besides football include all other forms of sport, board games and FIFA.

The boy is motivated to have a time substitute.

The boy's parents will introduce you to the boy and the family, after which you will initiate your contact with the boy yourself.

Our expectations of you

Employment preferably for at least one year.

You have strong relational competencies.

You have good energy, are inclusive, responsible and present.

It will be a great advantage if you share the same interests as the boy.

You have a clear and robust personality and wish to become a meaningful adult for a child with a disability and its family.

It would be an advantage if you are a man.

Target group – purpose of time substitution

Time substitution for children is provided under the child's Act § 90 stk. 1, no. 2, cf. the Social Services Act § 84 stk. 1.

The purpose of time substitution is to relieve the parents of a child with reduced physical or mental function. The municipality offers time substitution when the need for relief has arisen solely due to the child’s disability and when the relief is in the interest of the rest of the family.

Salary and employment terms

Normal hours: 145.97 Danish kroner/hour

Advanced service: 31.55 kroner/hour

Saturday allowance: 38.19 kroner/hour

Weekend allowance: 70.33 kroner/hour

The position is at all times conditional on a satisfactory public criminal record and a clean child records check.
