We are seeking an experienced AC'er who will play a central role in handling some of the municipality's most complex and resource-intensive cases, and who will help ensure high quality in the political service.

This is a position for someone who is motivated by getting to grips with issues, creating momentum in difficult cases and finding solutions in close interaction with management, subject areas and colleagues.

You will work closely with the political and administrative management in the municipality, where professional expertise, political understanding and an eye for the citizens' perspective go hand in hand.

The role requires organizational understanding and the ability to translate complicated issues into clear decision bases and precise answers to politicians and citizens. Tasks may include challenging appeal case processes, extensive access to information and case inquiries, or other cases where many considerations must be balanced, and where there is a need for both overview, coordination and secure case handling.

A role across the organization

You report administratively to the head of Political Service, but in day-to-day work you will often operate on behalf of the board of directors and in close collaboration with chiefs and employees in the subject areas where the tasks lie.

You must be able to move securely between the political, administrative and professional levels and create coherence between different interests and perspectives.

You will, in particular, have close cooperation with the Center for Environment and Technology, where you will be responsible for answering inquiries and case inquiries from the municipal council and special citizen and appeal cases. A portion of your time you will physically sit in this center.

Subsequently you may physically have your workplace in different places in the organization depending on tasks and needs.

Your tasks

Your competencies are put to use where they create the greatest value for the organization. You will, among other things:

• solve especially difficult or complex cases in cooperation with centers and management. In the first instance, the technical area will be the focus.
• prepare responses to political inquiries, case inquiries, mayoral inquiries and appeal cases.
• perform, complete and coordinate processes across centers to ensure progress and overview in long-running case processes.

About you

We are looking for an experienced employee with strong analytical and communicative competencies, who thrives on complex problem statements and many collaboration surfaces. As a person you are collaborative, curious and proactive. You manage to build trust and relationships across the organization and thrive working closely with both management and professional environments.

You

• have a relevant academic education or competencies at a comparable level.
• have experience from a politically governed organization or another organization with complex decision-making processes.
• can be a generalist, but have relevant experience from e.g. the technical area and/or one of the major welfare areas.
• have political acumen, good situational awareness and understanding of the interaction between politics, administration and professionalism.
• are good at getting into new subject areas.
• are systematic, structured and good at creating an overview.
• write well and fluently and can translate complicated issues into clear and precise answers and explanations.
• can navigate safely in situations with many stakeholders and different considerations.
• have an understanding of legal issues, experience with working with law and can assess both legality and legitimacy in a concrete situation.
• have a citizen perspective and an understanding of how the municipality's solutions are experienced by those affected.

Organizationally you will become part of Political Service , which consists of 12 employees with competencies in law, communication as well as political and administrative secretariat support. The department is part of Center for Organization and Governance , which also houses Personnel and HR, Economics as well as IT and Digitalization.

Salary and employment

The position is full-time and is desired to be filled on 1 January 2027.

In accordance with the Salary Transparency Directive, we must state that the minimum salary for the position is 36,370.46 DKK per month exclusive of pension. Depending on education, seniority and qualifications, there will be potential for negotiation of allowances and any other collective agreement classification.
