About the police district

The Prosecution Authority at the South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police consists of about 75 staff members, including about 50 lawyers distributed across three offices: the Prosecution Office for Special Cases (SP), the Prosecution Office for General Cases (AS), and the Prosecution Office for Quality, Development and General Cases (KUA). Prosecution attorneys typically appear in the district courts in Næstved and Nykøbing Falster. In cases from UKA East, prosecutors appear in district courts across Zealand.

We are working purposefully to ensure that the local Prosecution Authority can measure itself against the best workplaces in the country when it comes to well-being. It should be a place where one unified Prosecution Authority integrated into the police district helps each other and continually delivers visible results, without anyone being able to question our integrity and dedication.
