About the job

We are looking for an engaged occupational safety and health coordinator

Are you good with people, have an eye for occupational safety and health, and motivated by making a difference in everyday life? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

Give Steel is growing, and with more activities and an organization in development we are now strengthening our Occupational Safety and Health Department. Therefore we are seeking a new colleague who wants to help develop and strengthen safety and health across our production and construction sites.

For us, safety is not only about rules and procedures - it is first and foremost about people, responsibility and collaboration.

A day with variety and responsibility

You will become part of our Occupational Safety and Health Department, where you, in close collaboration with colleagues, employees and managers, contribute to creating safe and good working conditions.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • Safety rounds and follow-up in production and on construction sites.
  • Dialogue and sparring with employees, installers and managers.
  • Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of risk assessments, safety instructions and APV (workplace assessment).
  • Participation in training, prevention and follow-up of safety incidents.
  • Contribute to the development of our safety culture and the occupational safety management system (ISO 45001).

A significant part of the role involves visits to our construction sites around Denmark and, if needed, in Northern Europe. You must therefore be prepared for ongoing travel, including overnight stays. Your day will alternate between on-site work at construction sites and tasks related to our head office in Brande.

We are looking for the right person - not necessarily the perfect CV

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with occupational safety and health, preferably within industry, production or construction. But it is not a requirement.

We believe that the right attitude, motivation and willingness to learn can take you far.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Are good with people and able to build trust and strong relationships.
  • Communicate clearly and dare to have the difficult conversations.
  • Are autonomous, structured and take responsibility.
  • Are curious, solution-oriented and motivated to develop yourself.

Join a department in development

We offer an exciting and varied position in a growth-oriented company where occupational safety and health have high priority.

You will become part of a dedicated team with an informal tone, a strong sense of community and the opportunity to influence the development of our occupational safety work.

We offer good opportunities for both professional and personal development, where individual salary and employment terms are determined based on your qualifications, experience and the responsibilities of the position.

Do you want to be part of it?

The position is 37 hours per week with organizational affiliation to our head office in Brande.

Since we have construction sites across Denmark and activities in Northern Europe, we are flexible regarding where in the country you live. The most important thing for us is that you are prepared for a varied workday with visits to our construction sites and ongoing collaboration with colleagues in Brande.

Travel and overnight stays will be a natural part of the role.

Have you become curious?

Apply via the link on this page. We review applications on an ongoing basis.

We look forward to hearing from you!
