Architect Intern for Urban Space & Landscape

Internship: Urban Space & Landscape – start February 2027

For us, urban space and landscape architecture is not about form. It is about impact. Cities, urban spaces and landscapes are powerful catalysts. It is here that the key to changing the most fundamental environments of our lives lies – how we live, learn, work and breathe. We are dedicated to making a difference for people, organisations and communities and if you are passionate about the same, we want you on board.

At AART you will become part of an exciting daily life in Aarhus at our new office on the 18th floor in Akson. Here you will have the opportunity to test yourself on high-profile projects across the Nordics and gain practical experience with a wide range of tasks.

As an intern you will become part of AART Urban Space and Landscape, where you will work with concept development, sketching and 3D modelling. If you are interested in the design of urban spaces and landscapes, we can also arrange an internship with this as the primary learning focus.

In AART Urban Space & Landscape we are a handful of experienced landscape architects who provide you with ongoing constructive feedback on your work. In addition you will be assigned a fixed mentor who supports both your professional and personal development during the internship. Along the way you will also participate in meetings with partners, internal continuing education activities and social events that give you further experience with the profession in an inspiring and developmental environment.

We hold interviews on an ongoing basis, so the earlier you upload your application, the greater your chances of being considered. We are open to supporting your internship with a form of recognition if you receive SU while you are with us - otherwise you will receive an internship salary. Also note that the internship must be credit-bearing for your education.

At AART we warmly welcome you from day one and give you the best opportunities to strengthen your competencies, so you are equipped for your future career as a city- and landscape architect.

We look forward to welcoming you to our office in Aarhus!
