Børnehuset Skovkanten

Børnehuset Skovkanten is an integrated institution located on the outskirts of Hørning, but only 5 minutes' walk from the train station.

We have a nursery group with 19 children and 3 kindergarten groups with 25 children each.

In Skovkanten you will become part of a team where professionalism, flexibility, humor, open communication and a resource-oriented approach are in the foreground. We show care for each other and support both professional development and each other in solving tasks. We focus on leveraging the great learning potential found in daily routines and we enjoy exploring in our local area.

We need you in our team if you are passionate about creating the best participation opportunities for 3- to 6-year-old children, with a focus on well-being, development, learning and formation.

You have an empathetic and validating behavior and use this to create security and trust through positive relationships with both children, parents, colleagues and management. You like to be a co-playing adult and be where the children are. We expect you to be aware of your professional knowledge and able to reflect on it, through both giving and receiving feedback on your own and others' professional practice.

You will become part of a developing and professionally committed community and collaboration with children, parents, colleagues and management, where we together challenge conventional thinking and respond openly and constructively to changes.

Hørning Daycare is a diverse daycare consisting of seven institutions. Our kindergartens are located in Hørning between Aarhus and Skanderborg, which means there are good bus and train connections and we are close to E45.

We have a nature bus, which circulates in the individual departments and takes longer excursions with the children.

The institutions are different, which is the strength of our collaboration across Hørning Daycare.
