Pedagogical assistant sought for a 4-year-old cheerful and curious boy every other Saturday.

In Dragør, a 4-year-old boy lives with his parents and his younger sister. He has infantilized autism and is nonverbal. He communicates through body language, by pointing and taking someone’s hand to show what he would like. He can be resistant to demands. He thrives on structure and predictability. He attends a special kindergarten during the day.

He is generally a very happy, curious and determined boy, who loves building with bricks, building and playing with Brio trains, playing with marble runs and puzzles. He is very sensory-seeking and therefore fond of sand, water and play dough.

About the task

The helper should play with Laurits, on his terms, in the garden, the living room or his room. Laurits also loves being at the playground and loves to climb high! The helper must keep a vigilant eye on him, as he can slip away very quickly and does not always respond to his name being called. Since he uses a diaper, you must also change it when needed.

Working hours

The working time is every other Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00 and will total up to a maximum of 10 hours per month. The concrete dates are agreed with the boy's parents.

About you

You are trained as a pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, or unskilled with experience and thrive in being 1:1 with the child.

You may already have experience or knowledge of children with autism.

You may have knowledge of and can use pictograms and realia.

You are caring and playful and can meet the child at eye level.

You will be paid as a pedagogue.
