About the job

Do you have natural calm, strong relationship skills and experience with citizens with

developments delays? Are you motivated by creating meaningful activities and contributing to the

well-being and development of individual citizens?

Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for as a pedagogue at Solgården?

Solgården is looking for 1 pedagogue.

Solgården is part of VHAP - Adults, Handicap and Psychiatry and is an activity and social offer under the Danish Service Act §104.

We are looking for 1 new colleague for a permanent position of 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027.

The working hours primarily fall during the day, with about 8 fixed closing shifts until 17:45 or 19:00 distributed over 12 weeks. The working hours are primarily day shifts, but some evening events may be expected throughout the year.

About Solgården

At Solgården we offer activities and communities for adult citizens with

developmental disabilities and significantly reduced physical and/or mental functioning. Our citizens

are between 18 and 75+ years old and have very different needs, resources and diagnoses.

Some citizens have extensive support needs, need for personal care or can in periods

exhibit outwardly challenging behavior. Many have communicative challenges, which imposes high

demands on the staff's professionalism, relationship work and the ability to adapt communication

to the individual.

We are 25 dedicated employees who together support 50 citizens.

The citizens are distributed across six groups with different activities, goals and participation opportunities.

We are in an exciting development phase, where we are expanding from five to six groups. Therefore we are looking for a new colleague who would like to become part of our new group.

You will become part of a small team consisting of three staff around one citizen. Two staff are always present with the citizen, while the third performs a floating function across Solgården's other five groups. The floating function is distributed among the team members according to a rotation, so everyone contributes to the task. Therefore you must be able to see yourself both in a floating function and as part of a three-person group with one citizen.

Our new group currently consists of one citizen, and we expect that several citizens will come over time. Therefore we are seeking a staff member who thrives with both structure and development, and who

is motivated by being curious about the individual citizen's wishes, needs and potential. You must

be able to see the value in close relational work and thrive in a daily life where you work closely

together with one colleague and one citizen.

Our professional foundation

We base our approach on the individual citizen's needs, wishes and prerequisites and use a wide

range of pedagogical methods and tools in our daily practice. This can include KRAP or visual communication through pictures and Boardmaker, Low Arousal, shielding,

structure and predictability in everyday life as well as sensory integration.

We work from Holbæk Municipality's common view of citizens. The citizen view is about meeting

citizens (and colleagues) with respect and curiosity. That we are easily accessible and listen to

citizens and each other before we make decisions about solutions.

We will be good at involving each other across core areas when it makes sense, and

we must dare to take new paths to create the best possible solutions.

Citizens should experience that we are one united organization.

The staff group has also completed KRAP training, and we work

continuously with translating and developing the methods in our pedagogical practice. You will,

as our new colleague, also be offered KRAP training.

With us you get

-An exciting and diverse job where you make a concrete difference in the citizens' everyday

lives and quality of life.

-Engaged and professionally skilled colleagues who value collaboration and sparring highly.

-A high degree of responsibility, independence and influence on task solving.

-An workplace focused on job satisfaction, humor, well-being and a strong collegial community.

-A good working environment with high professional ambitions and room for development.

-Ongoing professional sparring and external supervision in the team.

We are looking for a colleague who

-Has experience with the target group and understands the importance of strong relationships in the

pedagogical work.

-Works in a structured way and can create an overview in a complex daily life.

-Is both mentally and physically robust and can stay calm in challenging situations.

-Is flexible and thrives in close collaboration with citizens, colleagues and relatives

-Can work in an appreciative and professional manner based on Solgården's professional values and

methods.

-Has experience with or an interest in electronic documentation, including follow-up,

status descriptions, development plans and measurement work (familiarity with Nexus is an advantage).

-Has a driving license (category B) and is willing to drive a disabled access bus.

-Has good collaboration skills and at the same time can work independently and take responsibility.

-Sees care and nursing tasks as a natural part of the pedagogical work. For example, you would also need to go for walks with the citizens.

-Would thrive in a group with only one citizen as well as a group with up to 12

citizens.
