Are you the educator who leads the way in play

and taking responsibility for the pedagogical development? Bøgebjerg Børnehus seeks a academically strong and playful pedagogue for 37 hours per week in a permanent position as well as a 37-hour pedagogue for a leave-of-absence position until 1 April with possibility of extension. Can you see opportunities when others see challenges? And can you be present in the play with the children and take responsibility for developing our pedagogical practice? A small kindergarten with big ambitions Bøgebjerg Børnehus is part of the village arrangement under Øhavsskolen and has room for 47 kindergarten children and 15 nursery children. We are located close to nature and have good outdoor areas as well as the possibility to use the school’s facilities, including the gym hall and the craft room.

Safety, care, well-being and learning are the focus of our work. We believe that all children do their best. When something becomes difficult, we are therefore curious about what we as adults can do differently, so the child has better opportunities to succeed.

We are a house under development and want, among other things, to create a more coherent transition from nursery to kindergarten. We are therefore looking for a colleague who will help shape our everyday life – not just be a part of it.

Who are you? We imagine that you

• are educated as an educator and have a strong professionalism with a view to the children’s needs and perspectives
• are playful, engaged and know that play is central to children's well-being, learning and development
• can plan, set a direction for and follow up on pedagogical processes
• create structure and overview and can remain calm in a daily life with different needs
• are curious about your own practice, accept feedback and dare to try new paths
• actively contribute to collaboration with colleagues and see opportunities in nature and the school’s facilities

You do not need to have answers to everything. We expect, however, that you ask questions, take responsibility and help to find solutions together with us.

This will make you an important part of it You will help create safe relationships and good communities, develop learning environments with room for play and immersion, as well as plan and carry out pedagogical activities that take their starting point in the children’s interests and participation opportunities. You will also play an active role in developing our pedagogical practice and create greater coherence between nursery and kindergarten.
