Do you have experience from the transport industry – perhaps as a driver or terminal worker – and do you thrive in an active daily life?

Then you can be our new colleague at the terminal at ALPI in Herning.

Here you will be an important part of the daily operation and help ensure that goods are handled correctly, efficiently and move on nicely. We work closely together, help each other and expect you to take responsibility for your tasks.

If you have previously driven trucks, that is an advantage. You know the industry, trailers and the importance of correct goods handling and have an eye for what is needed to make the transport work in practice. Driver experience is however not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have experience from terminal or transport and thrive in a practical everyday environment where things move quickly.

Your tasks

• unloading and loading of trailers and trucks
• driving with forklift and pallet jack
• correct placement and handling of goods
• close collaboration with drivers, colleagues and freight forwarders
• other practical terminal and warehouse tasks.

We are looking for someone who

• has a valid forklift certificate
• has experience from transport, terminal or warehouse
• preferably has experience with trailers, goods or driver work
• has experience with pallet trucks – or a desire to learn it
• works safely and has respect for goods, equipment and colleagues
• is reliable and takes responsibility for your tasks
• can keep an overview when it is busy
• can work both independently and as part of the team.

Working hours are either 07:00–14:00 or 09:00–18:00. The evening shift starts at 13:00. There may be variations depending on operations.
