About the job

Do you want to lead one of Odder Municipality's most important development areas for children, young people and families?

In Odder Municipality we are seeking a strategically strong area leader who can unite and develop the Health Visitor Service (Sundhedsplejen), PPR, as well as Prevention and Intervention. You will be responsible for an area with high professionalism, dedicated employees and leaders, and a crucial role in creating coherent and preventive solutions for children, young people and families.

The position is established as part of an organizational strengthening of the area, where the ambition is to create even better coherence between strategic leadership and daily practice close to children, young people and families.

As area leader you will thus be a central part of the strategic leadership in the Children, Youth and Family area with direct reporting to the Chief for Children, Youth and Family.

You will play a key role in realizing the municipality's ambitions for early, preventive and coherent interventions. In the coming years, work will include establishing a One Access Point for children, young people and families, strengthening the efforts around school absence and distress, developing cross-disciplinary collaboration, and further developing the municipality's own offerings so that more interventions can be delivered close to citizens.

As area leader you must be able to translate political ambitions and strategic goals into concrete results. You must set the direction for the area's development, create a common course across different professional disciplines and at the same time ensure sustainable operations with focus on economy, quality and impact. Digitalisation, data-based leadership and development of new ways to solve the core task will become important tools in the work.

We are looking for an experienced leader who thrives in the field between strategy, development and operations. You are focused on creating strong professional environments, succeeding through other leaders and employees, and have a sense of how collaboration across the organization, civil society and external actors can strengthen the opportunities for well-being and participation for children, young people and families.

If you are motivated to lead an important development agenda and at the same time value the proximity, decisiveness and opportunities for collaboration in a municipality the size of Odder Municipality, we look forward to hearing from you.
