Roblon A/S is seeking a fitter for our machine department in Gærum. We build various types of cable machines, primarily used for the production of fiber optic cables.

About the job

You work with mechanical assembly, fitting and assembly of our cable machines. You will receive thorough training together with experienced colleagues and will gradually take on responsibility for independent assembly tasks. Along the way you will collaborate with the department's other assemblers, development engineers, our Commissioning Supervisor and the quality department.

Your tasks include, among others

• Mechanical assembly according to technical drawings and bill of materials
• Assembly, fitting and adjustment of components from subcontractors
• Construction of machine structures and rental constructions
• Inspection, testing and debugging in connection with the assembly
• Participation in project and development tasks
• Contribution to safety, order and improvement of working methods

About you

You have a background as an industrial technician, machinist, smith, mechanic, or similar. You can also be unskilled with solid experience in mechanical assembly.
