About the job

Become a Trainee Lawyer in Insolvency as well as General Corporate and Commercial Law at NJORD Law Firm

Are you ready to take your career to the next gear? Step into a world of opportunities as a trainee lawyer with a split role between insolvency and reconstruction as well as general corporate and commercial law at our Roskilde office. With us you get more than a job; you get a career path filled with complex challenges, helpful colleagues and exceptional opportunities to grow both professionally and personally.

Varied cases and responsibilities from day one

As a trainee lawyer with us you will be involved in varied and exciting top-level cases and will therefore travel widely in law and the industry. The position is split between our insolvency and reconstruction department and our corporate law team, giving you a broad professional exposure. On the insolvency side, cases include court proceedings, advising crisis-struck companies, bankruptcy quarantine cases, advising creditors, as well as liquidation and bankruptcy processing of companies.

In the corporate and contract law area you will work with general corporate legal advisory to our clients, including corporate law aspects, the ongoing operations of companies, as well as negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts.

You learn as you work, and you will experience that the difficulty of tasks and your direct contact with clients will steadily increase. Over time you will have independent responsibility for cases and client contact. With us you get a flexible everyday life, where your daily presence will be at our office in Roskilde.

Explore your potential with our experienced lawyers

You will become part of an ambitious law firm with a local foundation and international outlook. The insolvency team consists of knowledgeable lawyers and trainees with substantial experience in the field – including certified insolvency lawyers and fixed trustees and liquidators at the district courts.

You will therefore stand on the shoulders of some of the industry’s most skilled specialists, who every day will help you realize your potential and give you deep insight into the industry.

Professional and personal development

We believe that a strong team is the key to success. Therefore we invest in both your professional and personal development through mentoring schemes, educational opportunities and a supportive work environment. In our community we support each other, share knowledge and experiences, and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Our approach is simple and honest. We do not aim to complicate things; instead we prioritize clear and direct communication as well as solutions that are easy to understand and implement.

Are you our new talent?

We are looking for a candidate who can recognize themselves in the following qualities, and who wants to further develop them:

  • Do you thrive in handling complex cases and business contexts?
  • Are you passionate about supporting our clients through any challenge and understand the importance of building long-term client relationships?
  • Are you a skilled communicator who masters both Danish and English and delivers messages clearly and unambiguously?
  • Can you navigate between several tasks at once and switch between them effortlessly?
