Our auditor internship program is a structured 3-6 month program, depending on your education, combining theory and practice. You will gain experience with accounting and auditing in an exciting daily life at KPMG while also meeting the learning objectives required by your educational institution.

You will become part of the team – part of KPMG

From day one you will, together with our other interns, be part of a team consisting of experienced and young colleagues. As an intern you will experience the auditing industry in relatively short time, and you can therefore expect working days with client work and direct interaction with clients, including both work at our office in Nordhavn and with our clients around Zealand.

We know how important social well-being is to feeling good at work. We therefore place emphasis on having a solid sense of community both within individual teams and across service lines. We do our best to support and motivate you throughout your internship – academically and socially. You will have a mentor who continuously focuses on your development and ensures that you never stand alone. It will be your mentor who is your primary contact person and whom you follow in everyday life.

Your mentor will ensure your training and teach you about, among other things, client contact, communication and presentation – and much more that is important in the job as an auditor.

You will experience an innovative environment with an informal and friendly tone. The management structure is flat and everyone in the team works together on the task – regardless of how many years of experience they have or if they are new to the field. We work across specialties and titles and always welcome good ideas and proposals – together we help each other even better.

You gain insight into business life and a large network

You will become part of our Audit team in Copenhagen and you will have the opportunity to work with everything from start-ups to larger financial companies. Working with different clients gives you access to build a professional network and you will gain an understanding of business life in both Denmark and internationally.

About you, our new intern

Our auditor internship program is aimed at you who are motivated by working with the combination of people, numbers and business. We hope you are ready for the journey and that you will not hold back when there is something to learn and deliver.

We imagine that you

• Are studying financial economics, financial controller or finance bachelor.
• Are organized, responsible and always come prepared.
• Have a solid understanding of numbers and have experience with Excel.
• Speak and write both Danish and English.
