Automation-/maintenance technician for Pharma Nord in Vojens - help keep production running

Do you like finding the fault when the technology is acting up? And you don’t stop until you’ve found the cause? On behalf of Pharma Nord, Career | a JKS company is looking for a technically strong automation/maintenance technician who will help ensure continuous and stable operation as well as maintenance and ongoing optimization of the production equipment at the factory in Vojens.

You will be right at the heart of production

At Pharma Nord you will become part of the technical function around production, where your main focus will be to ensure that the production machines run stably and efficiently.

Your daily work will be a combination of planned and preventive maintenance, technical improvements and the more acute fault finding when a machine does not do what it should. Here it is expected that you work systematically and follow the fault all the way through the system rather than just solving the immediate problem.

You will work broadly with electrical and electronic fault finding, automation and controls and will also participate in the setup, adjustment, regulation and switching of production machines – including when production needs to be reconfigured for new products.

Your key areas of responsibility and tasks

• fault finding, repair and execution of preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment
• work with HMI, software, electronic modules, controls, relays, sensors, meters and frequency converters
• setup, adjustment, regulation and switching of machines in connection with different productions
• execution of calibration and control of relevant production equipment and instrumentation
• actively contribute to development, optimization and technical improvements
• maintenance of documentation regarding the machines’ design, function and implemented changes.

You will also come into contact with different control components such as temperature sensors and Omron.

Your expertise and personality – a technical problem-solver

We imagine that you, for example, are educated as an automation technician, industrial electrician, electronics technician or have another relevant technical background. Experience from a production company is an advantage, but your technical understanding and approach to problem solving is just as important.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. On the other hand, you are curious and eager to understand how machines, controls and processes hang together. When something doesn’t work, you check all around and keep at it until you’ve found the cause.

You work independently, take responsibility and keep a clear overview when production is idle and there is a need for quick technical assistance. At the same time you are motivated to improve things and have an eye for solutions that can increase stability and prevent future stops.

High quality demands on the technology

Pharma Nord produces both dietary supplements and medicines at the factory in Vojens. Production takes place under high requirements for quality, hygiene, safety and documentation.

That also means that your technical work must be performed in a structured way and documented correctly. A repair is not just about getting the machine to run again – the work must also be performed in a way that meets the applicable procedures and hygiene requirements in production.
