Azure Cloud Consultant

Do you have a deep passion for Azure Cloud and a desire to leave your mark on customers who want to go to the cloud? Then we might be looking for you. As an Azure Cloud Consultant you will be responsible for designing and further developing the customers' Azure platforms — and a central role in a specialized team where your knowledge makes the difference.

You will work with solution design and further development of customers' MS Azure platform and applications, and you will become part of a dedicated and specialized Azure team that helps our customers. You will have a great deal of responsibility and must be able to contribute to the team's decisions and concept development. It is important that you enjoy participating in establishing and optimizing current and future solutions for a wide range of customer types.

Our project tasks typically last 3-6 months and often develop into long-term collaborations. It gives you the opportunity for both professional deepening and building strong relationships with the customer.

Your primary areas of responsibility

• Migration and modernization of platforms from on-prem to Cloud or Cloud to Cloud
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Analysis work prior to migration – preparation, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting
• Design and implement containers in Kubernetes
• Develop policies to ensure governance and compliance
• Manage configuration and establishment of Landing Zones and deployment through Infrastructure as Code
• Drive innovative initiatives in relation to following Microsoft's cloud strategy, so we always stand ready in front of our customers

You have a relevant educational background as well as practical experience with cloud management, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes or similar tools and platforms.

You have a solid grip on cloud architecture, security and automation — and you work innovatively but also methodically with focus on the future to find the best solutions.

Daily life is varied, and you will gradually be involved in both projects, consulting work and tenders, where both your personal and professional competences come into play with good opportunities for further development.

You will have close collaboration with a number of IT specialists and will have broad contact with our customers' internal system owners, architects and suppliers

Your background may preferably include

• Data technician, data scientist, software engineering or equivalent, or otherwise you have specialized in the Azure cloud platform.
• Minimum +2 years practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, preferably as a consultant or in an advisory role
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools such as Bicep or Terraform
• Strong expertise in implementation/migration and administration of Azure Cloud infrastructure solutions
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
• Microsoft certification: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104). It is a big advantage if you have several certifications, for example AZ-700 or AZ140. Very welcome also SC-200
• Advanced Specializations - MS Audit / Specialization experience
