Baker

The Lillebælt Hospital kitchen in Kolding and Vejle is looking for one Baker who will rotate between the Kolding and Vejle bakeries for several months at a time.

We are looking for a new colleague in a permanent position of 37 hours (fewer hours can be agreed), with start as soon as possible and no later than 1.1.2027.

A Kitchen Across

• We have bakeries at all our sites (Vejle and Kolding Hospitals as well as Middelfart Community Hospital), which bake all bread and pastries for our patients, guests and canteens, and for further processing in our cold and hot kitchen.
• No head baker but a self-managing bakery team across sites with 5 bakers and currently 2 apprentices, who together manage the bread and cake plan within the same framework and collaborate across sites.
• The bakers participate in an enthusiastic professional community of nutrition assistants, cooks, bakers, kitchen managers, dietitians, process technologists, caterers, PBAs in nutrition and health and many others.
• Regarding bread, small is good, the eyes eat first – and good, real ingredients and excellent craftsmanship from the ground up create good results. For example we mix and maintain our own rye- and wheat sour dough, and bake croissants and cookies with butter.

What can you expect from us?

• Time off on weekends and on almost all holidays.
• No overtime, you work 37 hours per week, neither more nor less
• Working hours mainly during the day, start times are 05:00, 05:45 or 06:00.
