If you are professionally educated in pedagogy or have pedagogical experience with a similar target group, you are relevant to what we need, but it requires that you are motivated for development and have an eye for carrying out the core task!

We are recruiting for two parts of our organization

Secure unit

We need you! In newly renovated buildings you will collaborate with experienced groups of colleagues to create the competent offering for the placed youths. Everyday life is full of structure and pedagogical interventions, grounded in theories about brain development, demand adaptation and Low Arousal. We take pride in documenting so that focus can remain on ongoing progression for the youth after placement at Bakkegården.

There is much to write and tell about the work in a secure unit, but it must be felt! Can you function inside the fence with truly many powers, without becoming overbearing? Can you talk with the young people about what is difficult, without becoming emotionally over-involved? These are just two questions among many that need to be answered.

We work with a fixed duty schedule, integrity, security in work, professional development, good collegiality, thorough onboarding/training and much more to reassure you in daily work.

Birkehus - Partially closed/special arrangements

We are seeking an engaged and professionally strong pedagogical staff member for our team, who can make a positive difference for our residents/children/youths.

The position itself

As a pedagogical employee with us you will become part of a professional community with a focus on the core task: to create development, well-being and quality of life for those we are here for. You can work in a structured way based on each individual youth's needs and resources.

We emphasize that you

• Have a clear focus on the core task and can translate set professional goals into practice.
• Work from a neuro-pedagogical approach and can tailor your efforts accordingly
• Have experience with Low Arousal as a method.
• Are stable, responsible and punctual.
• Are a team player who actively contributes to a good work environment.
• Have experience with documentation and can work systematically with written follow-up.

Starting salary for collective agreement employees

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base pay, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

About Bakkegården

Bakkegården is a nationwide secure institution and a competence center for mentally disabled young people with criminal behavior.

Bakkegården consists of secured wards, open wards, sheltered units, special arrangements and single-person projects. In addition, we have an attached school and workshops.
