About the job

BBR employee for BBR, Allotments and Administration,

Are you fond of and skilled in registration work? Do you understand the importance of high data quality? Do you want to contribute to professional development in the BBR area? Are you perhaps also interested in cadastral matters? Then we suggest you read on.

In the City and Culture Administration's Office for Local Plans, Building Matters and BBR we currently need a colleague for the BBR team. One of our experienced colleagues has taken a job in another municipality, so we now need to find a good new colleague. The team's tasks, in addition to classical BBR tasks, also include cadastral matters and address authority tasks. Our upcoming colleague can preferably be experienced in it all – or at least familiar with working in a politically governed organization and have experience with the BBR area.

About the job

Your primary task will be to help ensure the maintenance and expansion of the BBR register, so it is always up to date and can be used broadly in the municipal administrations. BBR information is also of great importance to citizens and businesses, with whom we are in daily close written and telephone contact. The work includes among other things registering building case information, new buildings, geocoding, checking ownership information in relation to issued permits and professional assessments in relation to relevant legislation (BBR, building and housing regulation legislation, planning law, etc.).

Depending on your qualifications and interests as well as the team's overall task solution, the role may also involve tasks in cadastral matters and on the address field. If you come here without experience in these two areas, of course we will provide training.

About you

WE are looking for someone who has building technical understanding and interest. Perhaps you are educated as a building constructor, technical designer, building technician or have an administrative background. Experience within the subject area is an advantage but not a requirement.

You must be service-minded and focused on ensuring high data quality. You should be able to see yourself collaborating with several types of professional areas in the administration, for example building case handlers – but also with, for example, land surveyors, real estate agents and building advisors. From time to time you will need to do detective work, so professional curiosity is a plus. With us it is OK to ask questions and be in doubt and discuss this with colleagues. We do this as well in the team.

About us

BBR, Allotments and Administration belong to the City and Culture Administration and the workplace is at Odense Castle – right opposite the railway station and with the King’s Garden as a neighbor. You will become part of the Office for Local Plans, Building Matters and BBR, where we work to implement the political agreements about the city's development in the form of local plans, building permit processing, subdivision and BBR.

We are working to create a workplace with high trust, a strong professional and social community and a high degree of flexibility (including the possibility of working from home) and influence on the planning of tasks and everyday life.

Under the heading 'a city you will not want to miss', we work together to create beautiful and diverse frames for life in Odense. Our starting point for task solving is these four values: decisiveness, attentiveness, ambition and openness. They are meant to help us give lift to the political visions and decisions about the city's development.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week. Working hours fall within normal office hours. Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. The position will be remunerated according to the applicable collective agreement depending on experience and qualifications. The expected salary level will be disclosed before a potential interview. We expect your start date to be 1 January 2027.

The application deadline is 8 November 2026. Interviews will be held on Friday 13 November. The interviews take place at Odense Castle, Nørregade 36, 5000 Odense C.
