Become a Communications Intern at Mandag Morgen Think Tank

Are you curious, engaged and passionate about creating societal change through knowledge, dissemination and agenda-setting events? Then apply for an internship at Mandag Morgen Think Tank for the fall semester 2026.

Mandag Morgen Think Tank is a widely recognized and politically independent think tank that creates knowledge, meeting spaces and solutions for people and society. We put society's big questions on the agenda and bring people together to debate new knowledge and inspire new solutions – in areas including tech, democracy, sustainability, health and children and youth.

What you will work on as a communications intern

As part of the knowledge and media house Altinget/Mandag Morgen we place strong emphasis on clear and relevant communication. As an intern you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Written communication: You will have the opportunity to find and write good stories about the projects and partnerships we run.
• Audio and video: Perhaps you are already comfortable behind a camera or microphone, or perhaps you dream of becoming one? You will have the opportunity to learn to film, edit and produce audio- and video-content for our various channels.
• Social media: On social media LinkedIn is our primary channel, and you will have the opportunity to write and develop content that engages our target audience.
• Events: We host many events, which you will have the opportunity to participate in planning and hosting, with participation of political decision-makers, senior leaders, experts etc. We do this, among other places, at Christiansborg, on the stage in our own courtyard and at Folkemødet.

We are looking for students who want to develop themselves – professionally as well as personally. In addition, we are looking for students who:

• Are responsible in completing tasks, curious about their field and about working in a think tank.

• Thrive in a flexible working environment, where you work both independently and in teams.
• Additionally, it is an advantage if you are engaged in society and interested in politics.

• Mentoring and professional development in collaboration with experienced colleagues. As an intern you will be assigned a “buddy” and a talent cohort coordinator to support your professional and personal development during the internship.
• Participation in our Talent Team , a social and professional community for interns and student assistants.
• A range of social and professional activities – from joint breakfasts and a book club to a professional day and spontaneous social afternoon events.

As a token of appreciation for the work, you will receive a stipend of DKK 3,608 per month in addition to your SU.

We are a young, engaged and informal workplace characterized by a strong sense of community and a high level of professionalism. We are solution-oriented, and we are not more numerous than that everyone, including leaders as well as interns, can help each other with big and small tasks.

We are located at Ny Kongensgade 10, close to Christiansborg in the heart of inner Copenhagen, together with our sister company Altinget.
