Become a Financial Controller at Nykredit Portfolio Administration A/S in a member-owned Nykredit group

Then you now have the opportunity to become part of Accounting as Financial Controller with the earliest possible start in Nykredit Portefølje Administration A/S (NPA).

We are looking for a Controller with solid accounting understanding who thrives in a professional, regulated environment and who wants to actively contribute to both daily operations and the ongoing development of our processes and system support.

Your new job

You will become part of Accounting, which has the accounting responsibility for investment and capital funds administered by NPA. We are also in the midst of a major transformation, including a switch to an updated fund system and further development of our reporting and data platform, so that we can work more data-driven, automated and consistent across tasks and associations.

In addition, we are facing a system migration for the preparation of semi-annual and annual reports, where the focus is on reducing manual workflows, strengthening data quality and creating more time for analysis and controlling. The transformation involves both technical changes and the development of new workflows, controls and business processes.

As Financial Controller in NPA you will be an active participant in this development. You will have the opportunity to contribute with your accounting expertise in conjunction with systems and data and help shape how the future accounting and controlling processes in NPA are organized. There will be periods – especially around year-end – with extra busy times and the need for overtime.

Your most important responsibilities

Your tasks will include

• Preparation of semi-annual and annual reports for investment and capital funds.
• Execution of accounting controls and reconciliations.
• Controlling and quality assurance of bookkeeping in the fund system.
• Contributing to budgeting and ongoing reporting to clients and partners.
• Maintenance and further development of accounting and reporting models.
• Participation in the development and documentation of business processes and internal controls.
• Cross-functional collaboration and project work with colleagues in NPA – especially related to system and process development.
• Contributing to ongoing efficiency improvements and automation of workflows.

Is this you we are looking for?

We imagine that you

• have a relevant accounting education, e.g. cand.merc.aud., HD(R) or equivalent,
• have solid accounting understanding – possibly from auditing or another accounting department,
• work in a structured and detailed manner and thrive with responsibility for your own tasks,
• are analytically strong and good at turning data into usable knowledge,
• are curious about systems and processes and motivated to improve and streamline,
• can work independently with responsibility, but also actively contribute to the team's joint deliveries,
• are able to prioritize and keep an overview of deadlines – even in periods with high tempo,
• take responsibility for your tasks and want to continuously develop your skills.

It is an advantage if you have experience in the following areas, but it is not a requirement:

• Familiarity with the fund system SimCorp Dimension.
• Experience with Power BI, Fabric or other data-driven reporting.
• Experience with improving efficiency using AI solutions.
• Experience from the financial sector or other regulated environments.

The most important is that you have accounting depth, willingness to learn and commitment.

Your new team

Nykredit Portefølje Administration A/S is Denmark's largest investment management company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nykredit group. We manage investment and capital funds with a total assets under management of about 1,200 billion DKK. You will become part of a team of six colleagues who work with cost controls, budgeting, period reporting, semi- and annual reports, tax distributions and other controlling tasks related to accounting.
