We are seeking a new colleague for an interesting position with high flexibility and with the possibility of employment between 32 and 37 hours, depending on your wishes and needs.

We offer

You will join a small team, which besides you comprises two other lawyers, one with a municipal law background and the other with a lawyer background. The team provides legal advice to the mayor, the executive leadership, the municipal council and the municipality's 8 service centers, so professionally we span a wide range.

Team Jura functions in many ways as the municipality's internal law firm, and we handle all legal questions across the entire municipal administration – from general administrative law to advice on very complex legal issues within the municipality's core tasks in welfare areas, the technical area and real estate.

As a lawyer with us your tasks are very varied. You will primarily provide legal advice on the many different legal areas that the municipality operates within, but there will also be smaller case-handling tasks and smaller teaching tasks etc. Our task portfolio changes all the time in line with political priorities and in response to the legal questions and issues that arise across the organization. The internal distribution of tasks and case areas is continuously adapted according to the nature of the questions, as well as your and your colleagues' wishes and competences.

The position is between 32 and 37 hours per week depending on your wishes and needs. Your salary and other terms are negotiated in accordance with a collective agreement based on your education and experience.

Day-to-day you will work at Hørsholm Town Hall, which is located close to the Helsingør motorway, but we have the possibility of agreed home-working days with good flexibility.

At Hørsholm Municipality you will experience an informal and modern workplace with focus on the tasks and a high degree of flexibility. What we all share is that we are ambitious, but at the same time appreciate that there is also time for family, friends and leisure.

What else will you get?

You become part of the Center for Policy, Personnel and IT with 24 engaged colleagues. The center is responsible among other things for law, communications, digitization, project management, mayor and executive support, payroll and staff, HR and GDPR.

Hørsholm Municipality is large enough for you to encounter complex legal issues and come close to political decision-making processes, but at the same time small enough for you to quickly get to know the organization and play a visible role in solving tasks.

You can look forward to a versatile and flexible job with a high degree of independence in task handling and good opportunities for professional sparring and development. What are we looking for?

As we are a small team, working very independently, we imagine that you

• have a cand.jur. degree (Master of Laws)
• have several years of experience from municipality, region, state, law firm or another legal advisory function
• enjoy working independently
• can translate law into practical solutions and advice
• think in holistic solutions with an understanding of the municipality's core tasks
• want to work across many disciplines, where every day brings new tasks

Whether you are a generalist or a specialist is unimportant if the personal match is right, as the tasks vary widely. Experience with or interest in the technical area – planning and building – as well as administrative law rules will, however, be an advantage.

You are naturally positive with a high degree of empathy for others and you see diversity as a strength. You are approachable and understanding, while being proactive, sociable and good at collaboration. You can establish and maintain social relations across the organization and across all levels and disciplines.
