Yes, indeed. As an auditor trainee at PwC you build your career while pursuing an education in parallel.

Be prepared through our Trustbuilder program

As a trainee you become part of our internal training program called Trustbuilder. Through the program we ensure that you acquire the right competencies and tools to perform the role as the clients' trusted advisor. You participate in the program together with the other audit trainees across PwC, which gives you a unique opportunity to build strong relationships and communities.

You will be guided all the way through the program and with our support there is room to balance study and work. To ensure a good start you are assigned a host. It will typically be a trainee who is further along in the program. In addition you get a Career Coach who follows and supports your personal- and professional development throughout your career at PwC. ”There is a really good camaraderie among us trainees. We accompany each other to classes, write assignments together and just support each other,” says Mads, auditor and trainee on the Trustbuilder program.

Take in the full scope of the auditing profession

Your first period will primarily involve Trustbuilder courses, where you meet the other audit trainees at PwC Denmark. After that, the workdays start in your department, where you join on equal terms with your colleagues who are ready to welcome you.

We work in teams, and you can therefore look forward to being part of different configurations and solving tasks for many different types of clients.

You can among other things come to work with

• financial statement analysis
• inventory control
• audit of specific accounting items
• sustainability reporting.

”You will get very close to the clients, but not only in their finance department. You will also experience going out to the warehouse or into production. It gives a really good understanding of the business,” explains Amanda.

You will work with clients, and therefore you should thrive on talking to new people and want to build relationships. And because we work a lot in teams, your collaborative nature is a key tool. It is also important that you can motivate yourself to solve your part of the task on your own.

We prepare you well for the role, and you therefore do not need to have a lot of business experience – however, it is important that you are curious and willing to learn new.

In addition we expect that you

• are currently pursuing or have completed HHX, STX, Finansøkonom, finansbachelor, HA Almen or a similar education.
• are interested in numbers, mathematics and economics.
• learn best by trying things out in practice and are curious about translating theory into reality.
