Become an analytical intern at the Mandag Morgen Think Tank

Are you curious, engaged and do you burn to create societal changes through knowledge, communication and agenda-setting events? Then apply for an internship at the Mandag Morgen Think Tank for the autumn semester 2026.

The Mandag Morgen Think Tank is a widely recognized and politically independent think tank that creates knowledge, meeting places and solutions for people and society. We analyze society's biggest challenges and provide usable knowledge that crosses disciplinary silos and political stances. Mandag Morgen focuses on the great transitions of the welfare state, whether social, green or technological.

What you will work with as an intern

As an intern you will have the opportunity to work with

• Analysis: We work with diverse qualitative and quantitative data, collected with both classic methods such as surveys and focus group interviews, but also newer types such as video and mobile ethnography. As an intern you will be involved in many types of tasks throughout the project cycle, from project design, data collection to analysis, reporting and launch events.
• Events: We hold many events with participation from political decision-makers, top executives, experts etc. We do this, among other places, at Christiansborg, on the stage in our own yard and at the Folk Festival (Folketinget). Examples include conferences, policy labs, launches etc.
• Dissemination: As part of the knowledge and media house Altinget/Mandag Morgen we place high value on strong and relevant dissemination. We publish insights and solutions in classic report formats as well as in innovative digital formats with text, audio, video and graphics.

• Insight into life as an analyst and the work in a think tank. Like our analysts you will be attached to 1-3 projects within one of our six knowledge fields. Here we work in smaller project teams, where you as an intern will quickly be trusted and given responsibility for exciting tasks.
• Sparring and professional development in collaboration with experienced colleagues. As an intern you will be assigned a “buddy” and a talent cohort coordinator, who will have your professional and personal development in mind during the internship. We guarantee that you will develop your analytical and methodological competencies.
• Participation in our Talent Team, a social and professional community for interns and student assistants.
• A range of social and professional activities – from shared breakfast, running club and book club to professional day and spontaneous social afternoon events

The framework

The position is full-time employment (37 hours per week excluding lunch break). As a sign of appreciation for the work performed, you will receive a recognition of approximately 3,608 DKK per month in addition to your SU.

The Mandag Morgen Think Tank as a workplace

We are a young, engaged and informal workplace characterized by a strong sense of community and high professionalism. We are solution-oriented, and we are not more than that everyone, including managers and interns, must help each other with big and small tasks.

We are a group of social colleagues who value good collaboration and good mood. In addition to the group’s regular summer party and Christmas lunch, we host ongoing social and professional events in the department. We are located at Ny Kongensgade 10, close to Christiansborg in the heart of central Copenhagen, together with our sister company Altinget.
