About the job

Everyday life is the goal. Not just the effort.

Do you want to use your occupational therapy expertise where it makes the biggest difference?

At the Health and Care Plazas under the Health Council Limfjorden we are looking for occupational therapists who want to work with rehabilitation, complex citizen journeys and interdisciplinary collaboration in the future close health care system.

We are looking for occupational therapists for the Health and Care Plazas in Morsø, Støvring, Brovst, Thisted and at Anneshave in Aalborg. In your application please indicate which unit or units you wish to be considered for.

The Health and Care Plazas receive citizens with complex health and care needs who require observation, treatment, rehabilitation and coordination of their further course. Citizens are often in the transition between hospital, municipality and their own home, and it is precisely here that rehabilitation plays a crucial role.

As an occupational therapist you will become a central professional in assessing the citizen's ability to perform activities, functional capacity and rehabilitation potential. You contribute to creating coherent pathways where the citizen's goals, resources and opportunities are the starting point for the effort.

At the Health and Care Plazas rehabilitation is not something that takes place one hour a day - Rehabilitation is an integrated part of the whole citizen's stay.

Therefore you will not be solely responsible for occupational therapy interventions. You will take a central role in supporting a rehabilitative approach across the entire day together with nurses, social and health care assistants, social and health care helpers, physiotherapists and other collaborators.

You will have an important role in

  • assessing activity ability and rehabilitation potential
  • supporting the citizen's independence, mastery and participation in everyday life
  • planning and carrying out targeted rehabilitation pathways based on the citizen's own goals
  • advising on aids, housing conditions and compensatory strategies
  • contributing to interdisciplinary assessments and decisions
  • supporting the rehabilitative effort across the entire unit
  • helping to create the best possible conditions for the citizen's further journey

We work from Fundamentals of Care (FoC), where the citizen's needs, relationships and professional quality are seen as a whole. Therefore the occupational therapy intervention plays an important role in the work to create meaningful and coherent pathways.

You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary community where professional sparring, development and collaboration are prioritized. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of one of the largest new health offerings in the close health care system.

We imagine that you

  • are a licensed occupational therapist
  • have an interest in rehabilitation and complex citizen journeys
  • work independently and take responsibility for your professional assessments
  • focus on activity, participation, mastery and quality of life
  • thrive in interdisciplinary collaborations
  • see possibilities rather than limitations
  • wish to actively contribute to the development of the future Health and Care Plazas

With us you get

  • opportunity to make a noticeable difference to citizens' everyday lives and independence
  • a central role in interdisciplinary rehabilitation pathways
  • professional autonomy and responsibility
  • strong interdisciplinary collaborations
  • opportunity to influence the development of a new health offer
  • focus on learning, sparring and competence development
