A leadership role with both direction, proximity, and a large local mandate

As the local bank director, you will have the overarching management responsibility for the local bank in Slagelse and become the driving force in both the private and corporate sectors. You will have the opportunity to recruit a private banking manager who can support you in the daily work of creating value for customers, employees, and the local community.

Your key tasks will be

• Strengthen Nykredit & Spar Nord's position in Slagelse and the surrounding area.
• Set clear direction and create engagement among the staff.
• Create an attractive working environment and be a leader whom advisers actively choose to work with.
• Deliver results through trust, collaboration, and approachable leadership.
• Ensure sound business with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Develop and maintain a solid network in the local area in both the private and corporate sectors.
• Actively contribute to the local business community and engage in the town's development as a visible local figure.

You will also lead a team that is in the midst of an exciting cultural transformation, where Spar Nord and Nykredit have merged at the turn of the year into one common local bank. This requires you to create direction, bridge cultures, and engage the employees in a shared narrative.

You report to the regional bank management in Regionalbank Sjælland and will have close collaboration with colleagues in the regional bank and the specialist units within the Nykredit group. In this role you will have a large local mandate and the opportunity to make decisions focused on business growth, customers, employees, and finances.

We imagine you have solid leadership experience from the financial sector and can achieve results through others. You are business-oriented, have a solid credit understanding and a good compass, and you thrive at the intersection of operations and development.

Nykredit & Spar Nord in Slagelse is a local bank with 16 employees, for whom you will have overall responsibility. You will also become part of a leadership team consisting of 13 directors, where we emphasize collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint development.
