Become Vice Regional Bank Director at Regionalbank Zealand in a member-owned Nykredit group

You will also experience this as Vice Regional Bank Director, where we work every day to be best for customers.

You will become part of Regionalbank Sjælland, which consists of about 300 employees, spread across nine locations (geography: South, East, West Zealand, and the South Sea Islands and Bornholm), covering private, corporate, private banking, agriculture, large corporate clients and credit.

Your key responsibilities

As Vice Regional Bank Director you will have a central role in the continued development and growth of Regionalbank Sjælland. In collaboration with the regional bank director, you will contribute to strengthening leadership power, setting direction and ensuring decisive action across the regional bank. Together you will strengthen our market position, create solid customer experiences and develop our employees and leaders so that we continue to live up to the ambition of being Denmark’s Cooperative-owned Relationship Bank.

You will become an important part of the management team in the Nykredit group, while at the same time taking a prominent role as a representative for the bank, both internally and externally.

You understand that our ambitions require strong execution, perseverance and close collaboration across the organization. You know that high customer orientation creates value for customers, colleagues and the group. Together with the regional bank's leaders and employees you will help strengthen our position as private customers’ and businesses’ preferred financial partner on Zealand.

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring the regional bank's commercial development, including customer development, sales, earnings, credit quality as well as employee and customer satisfaction, together with the regional bank director and the regional bank's other leaders.
• Attracting, developing and retaining private, corporate and Private Banking customers through a solid and proactive customer focus.
• The direct leadership of a number of the regional bank's (leaders) branch managers. Leadership development will be a central focus area, and you must also support the leaders' work with the development of the employees.
• Being a visible and inspiring culture carrier who communicates strategy and decisions clearly and creates engagement around the changes that drive the bank forward.
• Supporting a high level of execution and collaboration across the regional bank's market areas and functions.

Is it you we are looking for?

You are driven by sales leadership and strong customer relationships. You are focused on achieving results through others and have a distinctly commercial mindset. It comes naturally to you that, regardless of what needs to be done – big or small – you are driven by and thrive in it.

You have a solid business understanding, experience with complex credit and commercial decisions and strong skills in credit, risk, AML and compliance. At the same time you have deep insights into private, corporate and Private Banking business.

About the recruitment process

If you are selected for the first interview, this will be conducted with the regional bank director Simone Wejlemand. Candidates progressing to a second interview will also meet a HR Business Partner and an HR Recruitment Partner. Selected candidates are invited to a final third interview with regional bank director Simone Wejlemand and the group director Martin Kudsk Rasmussen.
