About the job

We are looking for a skilled, curious and engaged bioanalyst for a non-shift part-time position.

At the Gynecological-Obstetric Department in Thisted, we have long dreamed of being able to offer fertility treatment to residents of the western part of the North Jutland Region. Now we are almost ready, but need a skilled bioanalyst who will handle semen analyses and semen preparation by swim-up.

Therefore we are seeking, as of December 1, 2026, a bioanalyst for the Gynecological-Obstetric Department in Thisted. You will have a main role in Thisted, but should expect that training and courses will take place at other sites.

The position is a non-shift part-time position of 25 hours per week, and is limited to one year. This is because we are in a start-up phase and want the opportunity to modulate the Fertility Unit's activity with increasing demand.

About the job

You will become part of the team that will start up and perform fertility treatment in Thisted. You will primarily work in the laboratory, where you will handle semen analyses and semen preparation for use in insemination treatment. In addition, you will also take on tasks in the Fertility Clinic and Gynecological Outpatient Clinic.

In the long term your role will primarily be linked to the tasks in the laboratory, but in the startup phase your tasks will be more varied.

We promise you a good and safe working environment, where we ensure thorough and careful training and nurture our good collaboration across professional and departmental boundaries.

We are passionate about establishing fertility treatment in Thisted, and look forward to you becoming part of the Fertility Unit.

We offer

  • An exciting, meaningful and versatile job
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues
  • Team spirit and a good and flexible interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Opportunity to help shape the framework for the new Fertility Unit
  • Nice patients who greatly appreciate your efforts

About you

  • You are a licensed bioanalyst
  • Experience in the field of fertility is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
  • You work systematically and professionally
  • You are friendly, flexible and approachable
  • You value team spirit and good collaboration
  • You are passionate—like us—about the idea of helping to bring more children into the world
