We are looking for a blacksmith for structures and assembly in Roskilde.

You will become part of a metalworking company with about 15 employees, where metal constructions are a large part of daily life. The work alternates between workshop, assembly and on-site mounting, so you use both hands and your head. There are professionals around you, but you must also be able to take responsibility for your own part of the task.

The role suits you if you like to see a construction go from pre-work to final assembly. Some days are about machining and assembly, other days about getting things mounted properly at the customer’s site. A driving licence is necessary because there is installation and fieldwork.

Daily routine: Pre-work, structures and assembly

Your everyday The plan depends on whether the task is in the workshop or on site. You work with the parts from pre-work and machining to assembly, and when something is to be mounted in the field, measurements and fitting must sit correctly.

You will, among other things, work with

• Carry out pre-work and machining of parts
• Manufacture and assemble metal constructions
• Perform installation and field work on site
• Cut, drill and fit parts according to the task
• Work with steel and metal constructions

On installation tasks, things must fit before you proceed. If something doesn’t match, you speak up instead of pushing through a bad solution.

We are looking for you who can tick off most things You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 4 years of experience as a metalworker
• Have a driving licence
• Can work with pre-work, assembly and installation
• Are punctual and keep your appointments
• Speak up if something isn’t right

It’s an advantage if you have tried both workshop work and installation before. The most important thing is that you can take responsibility for what you pass on.
