Børnehuset Firkløveren in Jyllinge is looking for an educator who is passionate about toddler life

We are looking for a new colleague to be part of our nursery team at Firkløveren Children's House.

The position is available from January 1, 2027 and can be arranged at between 32-37 hours per week depending on your preferences for employment status.

The nursery team, in addition to you, consists of three educators, an educational assistant and two pedagogical helpers. We are distributed across two rooms with 12-13 children in each room.

The good childhood In Firkløveren we are particularly focused on care, presence and play. We strive to be curious together with the children and have a playful approach to everything we do.

Firkløveren is a kindergarten house with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Together with us there are many possibilities. For example:

• Try out somersaults and a proper spin when we move into the gym next door, which we visit regularly mỗi week
• Use the senses when we go for walks, among other things down to the fjord
• Jump in soap-bubble puddles when we are on the playground
• Have fun with colleagues and children – and enjoy a good collaboration with the parents

You can be newly graduated or have a backpack full of experience. The most important thing is that you work on translating your knowledge into practice and that you are open and curious about your own and your colleagues' practice.

It is naturally also important that you are relationship-competent and, like your future colleagues, have a resource-oriented view of people. For in Firkløveren we know that it matters for both children and adults that we have a positive approach to each other. People grow and thrive when others see us in a positive light.

Our resource-oriented approach is reflected in relation to the children, the colleagues and in the collaboration with parents. We practice articulating our different perspectives and creating professional reflection to strengthen our working community. We do this in small moments during the day, but also at our team meetings and staff meetings. We make every effort to ensure new colleagues at Firkløveren receive the best welcome and start. For we prioritise that both children and adults land safely and well in our kindergarten. Therefore you will also be continuously introduced to our house and your tasks in your first months.

Firkløverens children are distributed across two nurseries and two kindergarten rooms. Our lovely house is located in the center of Jyllinge, 20 minutes from Roskilde and 10 minutes from Ølstykke. Here we have short distances to, among other things, the gym, the library, green areas and the fjord, which we explore diligently and the bus stop is also just around the corner. We are a mixed group who are passionate about creating caring and playful environments to benefit children's development and well-being.

In the coming years we will participate in a collaboration with Absalon University College in the program ALL CHILDREN'S DAY OFFERS about practice-oriented strengthening of the quality of children's environments in day care. We enjoy the collaboration with playfull learning and you will therefore get a job where in the coming years we are supported in the work of developing the finest and most playful environments for our children in Firkløveren.

The position is remunerated according to the current collective agreement with BUPL.
