Byens Bilpleje.com is one of Denmark's largest players in cosmetic detailing, auto painting, dent repair, rust protection and replacement of auto glass.

We handle more than 200,000 cars per year and have over 400 employees in Denmark. The first department was founded in Vejle in 1997, and today we have more than 50 branches nationwide. About the job

As a department manager you will lead a team of 1-3 colleagues in the long term and be responsible for the daily operations and development of the department.

You will be a hands-on coach, who both leads the team and actively participates in the daily operations and production. You will be responsible for, among other things, order processing, planning, resource allocation and meeting deadlines. At the same time, the employees will be an important part of your responsibility. With backing from your immediate supervisor as well as the HR and payroll departments you handle the personnel areas and ensure a good everyday life for your team.

You will also become part of the management group in the group and participate in management meetings together with our other department heads.

Your primary tasks

• Management of 1-3 employees
• Planning and distribution of tasks and resources
• Active participation in daily operations and production
• Maintenance and optimization of workflows and processes
• Follow-up on KPIs and the department's results
• Order processing and follow-up on ongoing tasks
• Ensuring quality and meeting deadlines
• Contact with existing customers
• Care and development of customer relationships
• Ongoing development of employees and the department

About you

We imagine that you are a trained auto painter with several years of experience. It is not essential that you have leadership experience. The most important thing is that you want to lead people, can create an overview and are the type who leads from the front when needed. You thrive with customer contact and have ambitions to take responsibility for a department at all levels – both staff, customers, quality, operations and results.
