Caféture and shopping with a woman – 6 hours per month

We are seeking a staff member for social-pedagogical accompaniment for a 68-year-old woman who would like to go on outings away from home. If you have a calm approach and experience with 1:1 support, you may be the one we are looking for.

About the task

You will become a regular support for a 68-year-old woman who enjoys going out and experiencing things. She likes, among other things, cafe visits, shopping and hymn singing. She has a good sense of humor, is direct in her communication and knows a lot about many different topics.

The woman has schizophrenia, for which she is receiving medical treatment. Your task is social-pedagogical accompaniment with a focus on creating safe and good outings based on her wishes and interests.

She is poorly mobile after a stroke and uses a wheelchair when she is out. In connection with toilet visits she does most of it herself, but needs help with the final personal hygiene.

Note that there is smoking in the home.

About you

You can be a trained pedagogue or unskilled with relevant experience from a similar task. It is important that you have experience with 1:1 support and can meet the woman calmly and patiently.

You preferably have knowledge of low arousal and thrive in an accompanying role where the relationship and good contact are central.

Working hours

The position is 6 hours per month. The meeting times are planned in collaboration with the woman.
