Then it might be you we are looking for!

At Vejlebroskolen in Ishøj we are seeking a pedagogue for 37 hours, who will help develop an exciting and meaningful everyday life for our children – both in teaching and in SFO2.

We are looking for a pedagogue who has an eye for the needs, interests and communities of older children. You can create frameworks where children feel safe, have influence and have the opportunity to try new things.

You don’t need to know it all. Perhaps you are passionate about music, theatre, creative projects, makerspace, gaming, movement or outdoor life. The most important thing is that you want to use your interests and ideas to create activities that engage the children.

Your tasks

You will be attached to the 5th grade, where together with the year-group team you support the students’ academic, social and personal development. You participate in teaching and contribute to a school day with clear frameworks and good opportunities for all students to participate.

At Vejlebroskolen we work with co-teaching and clear classroom management. It requires close collaboration between teachers and pedagogues, where we plan, implement and develop the teaching together.

In SFO2 you will have the opportunity to influence the after-school program and put your own competences to use. We want to create an environment where children can immerse themselves in interests, participate in exciting activities and help shape their own leisure time. Here there is room for both new initiatives, creative projects and ideas that arise together with the children.

• is educated as a pedagogue and thrives with children in grades 4–6
• is clear, proactive and good at establishing contact with the children
• can translate ideas into activities that spark the children's interest
• wants to contribute with their own interests and competences
• can adapt your pedagogical approach to children with different needs
• collaborates openly and constructively with colleagues and parents
• is flexible, takes responsibility and actively contributes to the team’s shared tasks.

About Vejlebroskolen

Vejlebroskolen is a two-track, department-divided school with approximately 460 students. The school and SFO are on the same site close to Strandparken, and we like to use nature and the local area as part of the children's everyday life.

We work to ensure that all children experience themselves as part of a community where they can develop, learn and thrive.

Employment

The position is 37 hours per week with a start date of 1 November 2026.

Salary and employment terms follow the current agreement with BUPL.
