Canteen manager at Rosborg Gymnasium & HF in Vejle

Our long-time canteen manager is retiring, and therefore we are seeking a new canteen manager.

The canteen manager has responsibility for daily operations, i.e. purchasing, meal plans, work schedules, accounting and finances related to canteen operations as well as the canteen's own control system. In addition you participate in the daily work in the kitchen.

We expect that you have experience from work in a canteen kitchen / institutional kitchen, and we place emphasis on you being service-minded, down-to-earth, proactive and a good people leader. You naturally also have a flair for collaboration and experience with customer service. Turnover depends on the canteen staff's ability to meet users' wishes, therefore service and the ability to interact with young people are important.

The canteen's customers are primarily the school's 1,375 students and 145 staff. In addition to the daily users, the canteen is also available for special (evening) events, courses and meetings.

The canteen staff work as a team, where everyone helps each other with the daily production of healthy and varied meals. The cold kitchen includes the preparation of the salad bar, burgers, sandwiches, etc.; in addition, warm and hot dishes are offered. It is important to us that you can contribute with ideas that can continue the development of the school's food offerings in a sustainable direction.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
