Municipal Properties is expanding the mobile service team because we have taken on responsibility for more properties. Therefore we are seeking new colleagues who want to help ensure good operation and maintenance of the municipality's buildings.

Vallensbæk Municipality is seeking a dedicated and service-minded carpenter/joiner for Municipal Properties' mobile service team.

About the job As part of our mobile service team you will be an important part of the daily operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties.

Municipal Properties is responsible for the operation and maintenance of approximately 105,000 m² spread over 55 municipal properties. You will travel to different buildings and handle both planned and urgent tasks. Even though you are a trained carpenter/joiner, not every day will involve work within your own trade. You must be willing to take on many different tasks.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Smaller carpenter/joiner tasks as well as repairs and maintenance.
• Operation and maintenance of the municipality's buildings, furniture and technical facilities.
• Operation, inspection and maintenance (DKV) of fire safety and related documentation.
• Playground inspection and follow-up on faults and deficiencies in playground equipment and outdoor facilities.
• Installation of furniture, minor renovations and practical service tasks – also outside the carpenter/joiner trade.
• Collaboration with colleagues, building users and external craftsmen.
• Ad hoc tasks.

We expect that you

• Are a trained carpenter/joiner.
• Have a positive attitude and arrive at work with a good mood.
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Are flexible and thrive with different tasks – also outside your own field.
• Are service-minded and good at collaborating with others.
• Are familiar with IT programs and using Outlook.
• Have a driver's license for a car (category B).
• Preferably have a trailer license (BE or B+ (code 96)), but this is not a requirement.

The most important for us is that you are eager to get things done, contribute positively to the community, and are open to new tasks. You do not need to know everything from day one – we will provide training in, among other things, DKV, Brand and playground inspection.

Working hours – and early finish! We offer fixed working hours, so there is plenty of time for life outside work.

Monday to Thursday: 06:30–14:30

Friday: 06:30–11:30

This means you can start the weekend already on Friday morning!

Salary and terms of employment We offer a starting salary of DKK 37,000 per month plus pension 14.1% plus flexible option 0.99% total 15%

Weekly hours: 37 hours.
