Perhaps you are currently head of accounting in a larger or medium-sized company and ready to take the next step, as CFO in a role where you work closely with the owner-managers on business operations and development. Alternatively you may already be CFO, and have a good job with great influence, but miss having the opportunity to work hands-on with the operational tasks at the same time.

Your main tasks

• Financial management, reporting, budgets and forecasts
• Month- and year-end closing and collaboration with auditor
• Controlling and analyses as a basis for business decisions
• Responsible for the daily financial operations
• Further development of processes, automation and Business Central
• Financial responsibility for several companies as well as the owner's holding company

Close to the numbers, to colleagues and to the business

We imagine that you have a relevant financial educational background such as HD(R) or cand.merc.aud and experience from a company where you have worked with operations, financial management and development. You do not need to have had the title CFO yet, but you must be ready to take responsibility and make decisions.

You are curious about new possibilities, and want to explore how digitization and AI can be used to make processes smarter. And you want to understand the business through the numbers and use your financial insight to see opportunities for development and profitability.

You will have direct line management responsibility for one employee in finance, but you must also be able to create collaboration and buy-in across the office's other 10 employees. You are good at delegating and prioritizing so that the office's tasks are completed efficiently, with good quality and on time. The culture is ambitious and energetic, but also informal and family-like, and many employees have been part of the company for many years.

You will be based at the new office in Sunds near Herning. Start date is expected in early 2027.

H&S Westergaard is an owner-led trading and transport company with headquarters in Sunds near Herning. The business area is the brokerage of pigs and cattle. There are 35 employees, and a large part of the staff have been with the company for many years. With a fleet of 20 trucks, daily work is carried out to provide high-quality transport solutions to customers.
