Church singer sought for Resen Church, Skive Deanery, Viborg Diocese.

The position as church singer at Resen Church is vacant, and desired to be filled by 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is a part-time post with 10 hours per week.

The church singer shall undertake the following tasks

Church singing at Sunday and holiday services, weddings, baptisms, funerals and burials.

Approximately 65 services, 10 weddings, 36 funerals/burials and 5 other services are held annually.

Resen parish has about 3200 inhabitants. There is good attendance at churchgoing and various initiatives in the parish house, which is closely connected to the church.

We expect that you

Have a good singing voice, and that you will engage in constructive cooperation with the priest, organists, church caretaker, church and cultural staff and the parish council.

We place value on tradition, but also renewals in the form of many newer hymns and songs, and we determine together what works well for us.

We deal with both the so-called classical music, but certainly also with the rhythmic and contemporary genre, both on organ, piano and occasionally also other instruments.

We emphasize a respectful and informal communication among staff and the parish council, which is gladly complemented with humor - which we believe is the shortest path between people and good cooperation.

The employment is covered by the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and CO10-Central Organization of 2010 and the organizational agreement between the Ministry of Church Affairs and CO10 for church functionaries with core tasks such as register of accounts, church and culture staff or church musician and the corresponding protocol for church musicians.

The annual salary for a full-time position is established within the range of 333,748 - 475,590 DKK current prices.

There is a standby commitment to the position. The standby allowance amounts to DKK 27,461.26 annually in current prices. OK allowance DKK 1,082.22.

Salary, OK allowance and standby allowance are calculated in accordance with the position's employment fraction.

An agreement on placement in the salary range is concluded between the parish council and the Danish Church Musicians’ Association.
