About us

The Establishment and Terrain Command has its headquarters in Hjørring, but has employees at service locations across the country.

We provide and develop the physical framework for the military operational units and the other authorities under the Ministry of Defence. We ensure heating, lighting, water etc. and carry out building maintenance and small repairs, tasks on the grounds, cleaning, and much more.

Many of the tasks are performed by our Establishment partner elements, distributed at the largest service locations across the country. Here everything from user inquiries and procurement to event support and building maintenance, etc. is handled.

In the past, many of these tasks have been performed by an external supplier. But we have brought more of the tasks in-house to better support everyday life in the Defence and the operational need.

About the position

You will be one of the Establishment and Terrain Command's local representatives and contact person for users. You will build up in-depth local knowledge of the establishment, which enables you to deliver optimal service.

You will be part of a team of 12 qualified employees, which is why we place high value on good collaboration skills.

Your core tasks are

· Carry out professional cleaning in various premises within the Vordingborg Barracks area of responsibility, including hotel cleaning/linen changes and cleaning of changing facilities

· Periodic cleaning of individual facilities in Næstved

· Laundry

· On-the-job training of new colleagues

About you

It is a clear advantage if you have worked professionally with cleaning before, but we will ensure you receive thorough training.

You speak, read and understand Danish.

You must hold a valid Category B driving license.

Your colleagues value your constructive dialogue. In addition you have a good mood, also when we are busy.

You are service-minded, flexible and have a good overview.

It is expected that you will actively participate in your own and joint continuing education. If you have experience with supervision and/or cleaning planning, that is an advantage but not a condition.

Employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the Collective Agreement for cleaning assistants, sanitizers, skilled workers and certain vocationally educated staff in the state, etc. (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is an opportunity for negotiation of allowances. The position is linked to an employer-funded pension scheme.

The workplace is in Vordingborg.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be security-cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

The Establishment and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to provide and develop attractive physical frameworks necessary for their daily operations.
