As a cleaning assistant at the Establishment and Terrain Command, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards for cleaning and service for staff and guests at the Establishment Partner Element Skive.

The Establishment and Terrain Command is a dynamic organization with many different task areas. We deliver and develop the physical surroundings for the military operative units and the other authorities under the Defence Command. We have employees at service locations across the country, and our headquarters are located in Hjørring. We work closely together to create a common focus with local understanding.

About the position

We are seeking an engaged Cleaning Assistant with a coordinating function for our cleaning team at Skive Barracks, who can handle a wide range of tasks within the cleaning field. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of Insta-800, but this is not a requirement. You will have the opportunity to influence the further development of the team. We have an informal and collaborative work environment where we help each other to improve. Our cleaning team consists of 17 people, both skilled and unskilled cleaners.

The work will consist of both manual work and administrative tasks

• Operations planning
• Practical cleaning
• Training and instruction
• Inventory management
• Well-being and working environment

About you

You will be the link between the team and management, and ensure that tasks are carried out efficiently and in accordance with our values and our cleaning program Insta-800.

We envision that you are trained as a service assistant or have equivalent experience.

If you are unskilled, there will be an expected requirement for further training as a service assistant.

• You have industry knowledge and experience from a similar job,

and master the balance between valuing others' work and being a problem-solver when necessary.

• You have a flair for IT, as the job is also administrative.
• You are responsible, take pride in your work, can stay calm, and are solution-oriented in acute situations.
• You express yourself clearly in Danish in both written and spoken form.
• You have an infectious good mood, and it comes naturally to you to lead by example.
• Your ability to instruct and motivate employees makes you able to create and drive a well-functioning and efficient team.
• You will have the opportunity to work in an organization that values both professionalism and a good working environment
• You are flexible as weekend work can occur, but this will be the exception
• You will receive ongoing competence development so that you can become even more proficient in your work.

Employment conditions

Employment is conducted in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector Agreement (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Collective Agreement for cleaning assistants, sanitizers, laborers and certain vocationally educated etc. in the state, etc. (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is an option for negotiation of allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Skive.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defense, you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be security-cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

You have, as an employee, a duty to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict-prevention, peacekeeping, peace-enforcing, humanitarian and other similar operations.
