Clear communicator teacher for starting a new class in the Rolighed Classes

Rolighed School is seeking a skilled teacher for a fixed-term appointment in the Rolighed Classes, starting January 1, 2027 and ending June 30, 2027. The position is 37 hours per week.

In this position you will play a key role as you lead the start of a completely new class. The task calls for a framework with a high degree of clarity, a solid special educational foundation, and a school day with few stimuli, so the children have the absolute best conditions to thrive and learn. The age group can be from 6 to 14 years.

Rolighed Classes are an offer to students who benefit from a small learning environment. Our pedagogy is fundamentally appreciative and resource-oriented, and we base our approach on a daily life characterized by structure, fixed routines and individual action plans.

A crucial prerequisite for our success is close and committed teamwork. We therefore expect you to actively participate in a professional learning and working community together with the school's other teachers, pedagogues and pedagogical assistants.

• Master classroom management and can create structure and calm.
• Are a clear adult in your communication and your relationship with the students.
• Have Danish and/or mathematics as a major subject (or equivalent competencies).
• Have experience with and insight into special education and can translate this into practice.
• Are strong in professional collaboration across disciplines.
• Are flexible and can navigate the needs that come with starting a new class.

Rolighed School is a well-functioning city school, consisting of three departments: Rolighed Classes, an ordinary department (0nd-6th grade in two tracks) and the Østermølle department (for children with significant, lasting cognitive and physical functional difficulties). All three departments have their own after-school facility for the benefit of many children every day.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Prior to final employment, criminal and child safeguarding checks will be obtained.
