Are you passionate about helping develop social housing in Denmark and promoting renovations and the construction of new social housing in close collaboration with social housing organizations, residents, municipalities, Landsbyggefonden and other relevant parties? The job

Reporting to the department head and the regional director and based in Kolding, you will primarily be responsible for advising and supporting the development of renovation and new-build projects from early strategic considerations to project completion. This includes, among other things, establishing the decision basis, managing processes, coordinating stakeholders, and following up on the project’s finances, time and quality in collaboration with housing organizations, Landsbyggefond and municipalities.

You will therefore be the central person in the early phases where the project is developed, needs and opportunities are explored and the decision basis is created, but also in the subsequent phases, where the project is tendered, during the execution period and up to the delivery of the construction cost accounting.

In addition to providing the necessary decision basis, your primary task will be to focus on the progress of the construction business, taking into account the project’s stakeholders, economy, time and quality.

Qualifications

Your educational background can be technical or economic – for example you could be a building constructor, engineer, architect or have a degree in economics and accounting. The most important is that you have experience with social housing and an understanding of the interaction between the project’s technical, organizational and financial aspects. Your experience may come from a social housing organization, a consulting firm or a municipal function.

You have a solid understanding of social housing and thrive on translating technical, organizational and financial aspects into a clear decision basis for the client. Likewise you have a good financial understanding and can work with project budgets and assess the relationship between construction costs, financing and rent. As a client advisor you can assess the economic consequences of project choices and involve specialist competencies when necessary.

It is an advantage if you have experience with the financial terms of subsidized construction, including subsidy rules, budgeting, financing and Landsbyggefond matters. If you have experience from the construction or consulting industry and want to develop your skills within the social housing sector, we would also like to hear from you.

Beyond that, your personality is decisive for your success. You are self-driven, have very good communication and negotiation skills, and you are able to build trust in collaboration.
