Clinical Nurse Specialist for Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans

We are seeking clinical nursing specialists for a staff function close to the department management in Department R. The Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans is part of Amager and Hvidovre Hospital, and covers two specialties: dual-diagnosis treatment and forensic psychiatry.

Both departments work with cognitive behavioral therapy and Fundamentals of Care, which are integrated into the approach to the patients and the departments' culture. We work from a holistic view of the person.

You will be attached to the department leadership in Department R, which handles the regional function for forensic psychiatry in the Capital Region. Here, patients are received where the mental illness and the legal measure are complex and require special expertise.

As a clinical nursing specialist you will be part of a dedicated and professionally strong team of four nurses. Together you work to strengthen the quality and development of nursing at Sct. Hans.

You will have an independent role where you help plan and prioritize your tasks in close dialogue with colleagues and management. Your work is closely connected to the clinical everyday life, so your efforts can be felt where they make a difference.

An important part of the job is teaching and competence development. You will plan and deliver teaching within forensic psychiatric treatment, care and rehabilitation.

Your main tasks

• Support that nursing is evidence-based and anchored in Fundamentals of Care, best practice as well as applicable guidelines and instructions.
• Support the implementation of new standards and contribute to high quality in nursing documentation.
• Contribute to the development of nursing in close collaboration with department management, ward leadership and the clinical nursing specialists in the ward.
• Plan and conduct teaching and other competence development activities.
• Contribute to competence development within among other things Fundamentals of Care, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, skills training and specialized care and treatment.
• Contribute to a good and professionally strong introduction of new employees.

Your qualifications

• You must be a licensed nurse with a minimum of five years’ experience.
• It is an advantage if you have experience from psychiatry and preferably from forensic psychiatry and/or dual-diagnosis.
• Teaching experience is also an advantage.
• You have a relevant academic degree at master's level.
• It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of and experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and dialectical behavior therapy as well as familiarity with the Fundamentals of Care framework.

Salary and employment terms

The position is desired to be filled on January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms follow the collective agreement for non-managing staff in the Health Cartel area entered into between the Health Cartel’s parties, including the Danish Nurses Organization and the Regions' Pay and Tariff Board with salary placement as Clinical Nursing Specialist.

During employment you are covered by the applicable working time rules agreed between the Regions' Pay and Tariff Board and the Danish Nurses Organization.

The position is primarily daytime on weekdays and without a fixed weekend shift or with every fourth weekend in DV. However, there may be occasional evening shifts and shifts on holidays.
