Jyske Bank is undergoing an extensive transformation towards cloud-based solutions. At the same time, an increasingly complex threat landscape, rising regulatory requirements and high expectations for digital resilience set new demands for both security and architecture.

As a Cloud Security Architect you will play a central role in ensuring that the bank's use of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 supports both business ambitions and the regulatory requirements that come with operating in the financial sector. You will be a key player in translating security requirements into robust technical solutions that protect data, support compliance and create a secure foundation for the ongoing digitalization.

The role combines deep technical specialization with the opportunity to influence security standards, architectural principles and the long-term development of the bank's cloud platforms.

Your responsibility and influence

As Cloud Security Architect you will be responsible for

• Design and further develop the security architecture for the bank's Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Establish and maintain standardized security configurations that support stable operations and compliance.
• Implement and develop solutions in Microsoft Purview for data governance, classification and information protection.
• Define and improve logging, monitoring and observability solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Contribute to the development of reference architectures, security principles and standards for cloud security.
• Advise projects, development teams and other stakeholders on secure use of Azure and the Microsoft platform.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions, internal security policies and external requirements such as DORA, NIS2 and financial supervisory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with platform teams, architects, operations, compliance and risk functions across the organization.

Your profile

It is important that you

• Hold a relevant advanced degree in IT, computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience with security work in Azure environments.
• Have solid experience with Microsoft's security solutions and cloud security architecture.
• Have experience in the design and implementation of logging and monitoring solutions in large organizations.
• Have a good understanding of Security by Design and Zero Trust principles.
• Document architectures, configurations and decisions in a structured and professional manner.
• Can communicate complex security topics to both technical and business stakeholders.

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience with larger cloud transformations or migration to public cloud.
• Have insight into regulatory requirements within financial IT security and compliance.
• Actively work with AI tools and can use them responsibly to support analyses, decisions and process improvements.

Employment terms: Try & Hire – i.e., you are initially hired as an external consultant through SCR, after which you will, if you are still interested, transition to a permanent position at Jyske Bank.
