You land in a larger metal production facility where the CNC department is an important part of the overall product. Here, parts are machined with turning, milling and manual processing, and larger series can run with automation. The work is in Hjallerup, and everyday life alternates between independent machine tasks and cooperation with colleagues in production.

The role suits you if you like having control of the goals, start-up and completion of a task. You will be responsible for operation and monitoring, but also have room to ask the person next to you when something doesn’t add up. Everyday: CNC, setup and quality control

Your everyday The day typically starts at the machine with setup, start-up or an overview of the production that is running. You follow the parts through operation and monitoring, measure along the way and respond if tolerances or quality aren’t as they should be. When adjustments are needed, you handle materials and prepare the machine for the next run.

You will among other things be working with

• Monitoring CNC machines during operation
• Setting up machines and starting production
• Measuring parts and performing quality control
• Changing between tasks and handling materials
• Completing tasks and performing light maintenance

The important thing is that you stay level-headed when the machine is running, and speak up if something doesn’t add up. Then the quality is captured in time, and the next link in production gets a part that fits.
