Do you want to contribute to developing the municipality's digital communication?

We are looking for a communications consultant who will take a central role in the work with the municipality's website and intranet. You will both ensure that the digital platforms function in day-to-day operations and help develop them so that citizens and employees encounter relevant, accessible and user-friendly communication.

At the same time, you will take on a broad communications role with responsibility for, among other things, campaigns, fairs and branding of development projects at Gundestrupgaard, which is the municipality's new hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and where collaborations can sprout between authorities, businesses, research and educational institutions and citizens.

About the job

You will be part of the municipality's central staff for Policy, Strategy and IT. The staff serves the mayor and the executive, collaborates with and supports the rest of the organization, and handles contact with citizens, companies and other stakeholders.

You will be part of the Department of the Council Secretariat, Communication and Projects and will work closely with colleagues within communication, projects and secretariat support. We work across the entire organization, and you will therefore have a broad set of contacts and the opportunity to influence the municipality's communication.

Your main tasks

As a communications consultant you will have special responsibility for our digital platforms, but also a number of coordinating and communicative tasks.

Your main tasks will be

• Operations, maintenance and development of the municipality's website and intranet – focusing on quality, structure, user-friendliness and relevant content. You will coordinate with IT and suppliers on faults, development wishes, new features and ongoing improvements of the digital platforms.
• Web accessibility – including supporting, advising on and following up to ensure the municipality's digital content meets applicable requirements.
• Training, advising and sparring with web representatives and editors across the organization, so they are well equipped to work with the municipality's digital platforms.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of digital communication solutions and new possibilities that make communication easier for both citizens and employees.

You will also work with

• Planning and coordination of the municipality's participation at fairs and responsibility for the municipality's fair equipment, including overview, booking and development of materials and solutions.
• Lead on various campaigns – from idea and planning to coordination, production and follow-up in collaboration with relevant colleagues and areas.
• Communication in connection with Gundestrupgaard, including branding and dissemination of the development projects and activities taking place in the area.
• Ongoing communications tasks across the organization, including a particular focus on our design manual, where your skills and your eye for audience, channel and message are put to use.

• Have a relevant education in communication, digital communication, web or similar – or have gained equivalent competences through experience.
• Have experience with CMS and with the operation and development of websites and preferably intranet.
• Understand web accessibility and can translate requirements and guidelines into good practice in the organization.
• Experience from a politically governed organization will be a clear advantage
• Are good at teaching others and can advise and guide colleagues with different digital prerequisites.
• Have an eye for digital solutions and are curious about how technology can support better and more efficient communication.
• Can plan and coordinate tasks with many stakeholders and keep an overview of deadlines and details.
• Can express yourself clearly, vividly and professionally and tailor the communication to different target groups and channels.
• Thrive in a daily life where you both handle operational tasks and take on development tasks, campaigns and communication initiatives.
• Personally you are curious, service-minded and good at building relations. You work independently and in a structured way, but are motivated by being part of a team where we spar with each other and pull together.

Salary and employment terms

The position is to be filled no later than December 1, 2026.

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is 37 hours per week, and we offer flexible working hours (including the possibility of a 4-day work week), a canteen and a health scheme. The workplace is also a smoke-free workplace.

Additional information

First interview round will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026 and a possible second round on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Employment is expected to start on December 1, 2026.
