Communications Intern - Do you want to help develop the story about Denmark's largest fiber network?

Are you a communications student, and would you like to translate theory into practice in an organization with great social impact? As an intern with us you will be part of the team from day one and get a program full of development and practical experience.

At Sinal we are looking for a communications intern for the spring semester 2027. In addition to becoming part of the communications team, you will also become part of People & Culture, which together counts 16 colleagues in the office.

In the department we have a strong professional and social community, where we actively use each other for sparring and idea development. We learn from each other, work together, and create room for both deepening and shared laughter in a busy day. It is also a team where there is room for you as an intern to take responsibility and translate your knowledge, curiosity and ideas into concrete, practical experience.

Your daily life as our new intern

In the role as our intern you will be involved in strengthening the communications area in a broad sense. We work with both strategic and operational communication and support the organization's development through targeted communications initiatives, management communication, change communication and employer branding.

You will have the opportunity to develop communications plans and get your hands in the production of content for internal and external channels. This includes text, audio and image for intranet, info screens, LinkedIn, as well as graphic layout for print. In addition you will have the opportunity to dive into storytelling, such as interviews and production of articles, cases and employee stories.

You will be attached to our office in Silkeborg with the possibility to work from home for a couple of days a week.

Proactive intern who is ready to kickstart their career at Sinal

We are primarily looking for an intern who is innovative, has a sharp pen and can tailor content to different audiences. We imagine that you are a master's student and would like to spend the time with us from February to June.

You do not need to know it all in advance; the most important is that you are passionate about the communications field. In return we promise an educational internship where you are involved on an equal footing with the rest of the team and have the opportunity to develop yourself both professionally and personally.

Therefore you will be assigned a mentor who helps you settle into the organization and ensures ongoing professional sparring throughout the internship period. After a thorough introduction you will have the opportunity to independently drive the tasks, while having experienced colleagues to spar with.

Since Sinal deals with critical infrastructure, there may be a need to conduct a background check during the recruitment process.

Background checks may include validation of your identity, presentation of a criminal record, obtaining references and validation of your diploma. You will be informed if this becomes relevant and before commencement.
