Communications Specialist for the Ministry of Taxation and Growth

In Press we handle daily press inquiries, interviews and proactive communication about the Taxation and Growth Minister's policy and coordinate political processes. In other words – we convey complex societal content so it is easy to understand.

About the job as a Communications Specialist in Press

You will as a Communications Specialist in the Press Office become part of the ministry's press function, where you are expected to help drive the proactive press work for the minister and contribute to the coordination of the minister's political processes. Press consists of seven colleagues plus the head of press – four press advisors, where you will become the fifth.

We are closely positioned to the minister, the secretary general and the minister's special advisers. Press is part of the Stab department, which besides us includes the Minister- and Department Secretary Secretariat as well as Policy & Coordination. We have a strong focus on being proactive and cultivating good stories about the government’s tax and growth policy.

About you

It is an advantage if you are educated in strategic communication or have a social science background. As a person you are used to working in a flexible environment and in close collaboration with your colleagues to achieve the best final result.

• have experience from e.g. a ministry
• can execute on delivering press and communications products with a high professional level
• can create an overview and angle and convey complicated stories and professional issues so that it is easy to understand
• can build good collaborative relationships and are a loyal team player who can cooperate at all levels
• are flexible, engaged and want to take responsibility in a daily life where there may be many balls in the air
