A companion is sought for a 24-year-old man in Kokkedal
The client has autism and ADHD. He has limited verbal language, but he is motorically strong and mobile. He is curious about the world, happy and outgoing once he has overcome the initial shyness. He enjoys joking around and having fun and can talk for a long time about the things that interest him. The companion must be patient, and it would be an advantage if you share the same interest in football. He lives in a residential facility in Karlebo.
You should have an overall overview of the outing, help to find the way, as well as guide and support the client appropriately in situations where he needs help. He thrives best with predictability, so it is important that you are stable and keep to agreements.
He desires accompaniment to play football - watch football matches (possibly at a local stadium) - cinema - museum visit - city tour - and browse silly things in shops. You may gladly come with suggestions for activities and support the client in planning the activities.
The client is allocated 11 hours per month.
The accompaniment will be on weekends, as he works on weekdays from Monday to Thursday. Occasionally the accompaniment can also be on Friday afternoons/evenings. The client would like to go out about 2 times a month, about 3-5 hours per occasion, and possibly a longer day trip during holiday periods.
Arrangements are coordinated with the staff at the residential facility and the client's mother.
A companion is sought for pleasant socializing every other weekend.
The position as companion is a part-time position.
The companionship scheme is always used for self-chosen activities outside the client's home.
The client covers all expenses related to the companionship.
Hourly wage
Weekdays: About 170 DKK
Saturday: About 180 DKK
Sunday: About 190 DKK
The salary varies depending on where in the country the client lives.
